Description:

Cover by Line Intercept

He put out a 50 meter line and counted hits at every .5m. For each species, he recorded the number of hits along the transect.

Sampling Area And Frequency:
Sampling was restricted to those grasslands known to have native composition, that he could find and visit from 1996 to 1998.
Sampling Description:
Sampling units were native-dominated grasslands he could find after extensive ground searches. Many were in state or county parks or other open spaces.
